Other Apps Terms of Usage

These terms govern your use of standalone utility applications offered by SoftBridge Labs, including SoftBridge Authenticator and SoftBridge Texts.

1. User Responsibility & Data Loss Liability

Because applications like SoftBridge Authenticator store highly sensitive 2FA data, users are solely responsible for securing their devices and maintaining their master passwords. While Premium Tier users benefit from secure, encrypted cloud synchronization and recovery, SoftBridge Labs assumes no liability for data loss arising from compromised devices, lost master passwords, or user negligence.

2. Acceptable Use of Utility Apps

You agree to use our standalone apps only for their intended purposes. Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise tamper with the security mechanisms of our apps—especially authentication applications—will result in immediate termination of all associated SoftBridge accounts.

3. Third-Party Services

Our utility apps may interact with third-party services via APIs or OAuth integrations. SoftBridge Labs is not responsible for the availability, security, or terms of service of these external platforms. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective agreements.

4. "As Is" Software Warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, these utility applications are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SoftBridge Labs and its affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of these applications.
