SoftBridge Workspace is a unified productivity suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Meet, Calendar, Tasks, Whiteboard, and Ping). Because we provide real-time collaboration and AI tools, we must process your data. This policy details how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
1. Data Collection & Storage
Your workspace documents, forms, sheets, and tasks are stored in our secure, distributed cloud databases managed by industry-leading infrastructure partners. We ensure high availability and robust security by implementing database-level encryption at rest and in transit. Images and files are securely stored via certified secure media delivery networks.
We do not store plain-text passwords; all authentication data is handled securely via trusted, enterprise-grade identity providers.
2. Real-Time Collaboration & AI
- AI Processing: To provide smart suggestions, summarization, and automated moderation, portions of your content may be processed by our internal and trusted third-party AI models. We impose strict data processing agreements on our AI partners, ensuring that your data is NEVER used to train public foundational models without your explicit, opt-in consent.
- WebSockets: Real-time changes in Docs, Sheets, and Ping are transmitted via secure WebSockets using TLS encryption to prevent interception.
3. End-to-End Encryption (E2EE)
SoftBridge Meet: Video and audio streams in SoftBridge Meet are End-to-End Encrypted (E2EE) by default where supported. SoftBridge Labs cannot view, listen to, or record your meetings unless an authorized participant explicitly enables cloud recording features.
4. Telemetry, Analytics & Marketing
We run automated operational routines that analyze usage patterns (e.g., how often you use a specific app feature) to improve our software. This telemetry is aggregated to help us identify inactive accounts for cleanup, enforce rate limits, and send targeted, relevant communications to help you discover new features or upgrade to premium tiers. You may opt out of promotional emails at any time. We strictly prohibit the sale or rent of your personal data to third-party data brokers.
5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and security tokens. We also utilize non-essential analytics cookies to understand website traffic and usage. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may impact platform functionality.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
Soft-deleted accounts and associated workspace data are permanently purged from our primary systems after 30 days. Operational logs (such as endpoint activity, OTPs, and audit trails) are automatically pruned on a rolling 30-day basis to minimize data footprint.
7. User Rights (GDPR/CCPA Compliance)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of your personal data in a portable format.
- Request the correction of inaccurate data.
- Request the complete erasure of your account and associated data.
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing activities.
