Other Apps Privacy Policy
This policy covers standalone utility applications offered by SoftBridge Labs, including SoftBridge Authenticator and SoftBridge Texts.
1. SoftBridge Authenticator & 2FA Data
Our approach to your sensitive Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) data depends on your account tier:
- Free Tier Users: Your 2FA secrets and security codes are generated and stored locally on your device. SoftBridge Labs does NOT have access to your private keys or 2FA codes. If you lose your device and do not have a manual backup, we cannot recover your codes, and your data remains entirely within your control.
- Premium Tier Users: We offer seamless remote access and multi-device synchronization. For these accounts, your 2FA secrets are securely encrypted using industry-standard cryptography before being synchronized to our secure cloud servers. This encrypted backup enables device recovery while ensuring that your sensitive tokens remain protected against unauthorized access.
2. Third-Party Integrations & OAuth
Some of our utility apps may integrate with external services to provide enhanced functionality. When you link an external account, we only request the minimum permissions required to perform the requested action. We utilize secure OAuth protocols and never store your access tokens longer than necessary to facilitate the service.
3. Anonymous Telemetry & Analytics
To ensure the stability and reliability of our standalone apps, we collect anonymized crash reports and basic usage metrics (such as operating system version and app version). This data contains no personally identifiable information and is used exclusively for debugging and improving the software experience.
4. Data Security
We deploy robust security measures across all our applications, including regular security audits, secure coding practices, and continuous monitoring of our infrastructure. However, no electronic transmission or storage is entirely secure, and we encourage users to employ strong, unique master passwords to protect their devices and accounts.
